❕How to process write ups and praise events in UKG

Employee write ups and praise events are called "incidents" in UKG. Incidents can either be good or bad.

You can submit new incidents in UKG by going to TEAM > HR > HR MAINTENANCE > INCIDENTS

Click the Add New button in the top right.

• The only required fields for praise is a open text description. Fill it in and click Submit.

• The only required fields for write up are Violation Type, Incident Date, and an open text description.

When these are submitted, the incident goes through a workflow for approvals and notifications to departments that need to get them.

Reports can be pulled for all incident types by going to TEAM > HR > HR MAINTENANCE > INCIDENTS
